Welcome to the 54th NAACP Image Awards Golf Invitational presented by Wells Fargo held at the Wilshire Country Club. This spectacular event brings together corporate leaders with legends in sports and entertainment to celebrate Black Excellence and put a spotlight on the continued need to increase diversity, equity and inclusion across all industries. The day will feature a full breakfast, a gifting experience, opening ceremonies, an elaborate clubhouse lounge, dinner, and awards celebration. Honorees will include some of golf’s legendary pioneers, as well as tributes to icons of Black Hollywood.
The Wilshire Country Club’s golf course is considered one of the best designed and manicured courses in the heart of Los Angeles. Founded in 1919, the private 18-hole golf course boasts immaculate greens and meticulous fairways, offering a challenging and beautiful experience. The Wilshire Country Club’s Clubhouse overlooks the pristine golf course views and offers a selection of specialty cocktails and delectable cuisine.
To honor Black Hollywood Legends and unforgettable moments in sports, there will be an On-course Museum that will highlight the history of the NAACP Image Awards and Black sports icons that have paved the way forward for the next generation. Each tee box will feature a special monument commemorating the achievements presented by a special partner or sponsor. The 18-hole NAACP Black Hollywood Museum journey will also be available online for guests to revisit at home and via a QR code on each museum display.
Scheduled for Tuesday, February 21st, the 54th NAACP Image Awards Golf Invitational presented by Wells Fargo at Wilshire Country Club, will be the kick-off event for a high caliber week of activity, culminating in the 54th NAACP Image Awards. Guests will experience a special hosted opening ceremony before heading on course to compete in a live digital scoring celebrity-amateur format. On-course amenities will include entertainment experiences, savory cuisine, and golf challenges. After the round, guests will gather in the Clubhouse Lounge presented by Dewar’s to enjoy an awards presentation, cocktails, dinner, and cigars, all while mingling and celebrating the day.
Upon arrival at Wilshire Country Club, guests will register and enjoy a tailored gifting experience inside the Wilshire Country Club’s clubhouse. The gifting experience will feature specialty NAACP commemorative items along with exclusive apparel and golf necessities. The gifting experience will focus on diverse brands and elevated golf and lifestyle products.

The Clubhouse Lounge inside the renowned Wilshire Country Club will feature specialty cocktails, afternoon hors d’oeuvres and a live DJ, providing an upbeat atmosphere for all guests to enjoy, relax and mingle in the most beautiful of settings. With views of the course to cheer on the players, the clubhouse lounge allows guests to be spectators while enjoying an exclusive day of golf.
